Q:What signal does R8EF support?

A: R8EF supports SBUS, PPM, and PWM signals output synchronously.

The receiver indicator is RED with all 8 channels output PWM signal.

The receiver indicator is Blue (Purple) with 8 channels output in total. Channel 1 is the SBUS signal, Channel 2 is PPM signal and Channel 3 to 8 is PWM signal.

Q:What transmitters are compatible with R8EF?

A: R8EF compatible with RadioLink T8FB/T8S/RC8X/RC6GS V3/RC4GS V3/RC6GS V2/RC4GS V2/RC6GS/RC4GS/.

Q:How to bind R8EF to the transmitter?

A:

1. Put the transmitter and the receiver close to each other (about 50 centimeters) and power both on.

2. Switch on the transmitter and the LED of R8EF will start flashing slowly.

3. There is a black binding button (ID SET) on the side of the receiver. Press the button for more than 1 second and release, the LED will flash quickly, meaning the binding process is ongoing.

4. When the LED stops flashing and is always on, binding is complete and there will be a signal tower shown on top of the screen of the transmitter.

Note: If bound to transmitters without a screen like T8S or T8FB, the always-on LED means binding completed.

Q:Why the LED of R8EF keeps flashing slowly?

A: The slow flashing LED means binding doesn’t succeed or the signal gets lost after binding completes.

Q:What is the operating voltage range that R8EF supports?

A: The operating voltage range of R8EF is from 3V to 15V.

Q: What are the differences among the various versions of R8EF?

A: R8EF V1.0, V1.1, V1.2, and V1.3 do not support outputting RSSI value from receiver to OSD module, while R8EF V1.4 and later versions support outputting RSSI value from receiver to OSD module. There is no difference in other functions.
