R6FG FAQ
Q:How to bind R6FG to RadioLink transmitter?
A:
1. Put the transmitter and the receiver close to each other (about 50 centimeters) and power both on.
2. Switch on the transmitter and the LED of R6FG will start flashing slowly.
3. There is a black binding button (ID SET) on the side of receiver. Press the button for more than 1 second and release, the LED will flash quickly, meaning binding process is ongoing.
4. When the LED stops flashing and is always on, binding is complete and there will be a signal tower shown on top of the LCD screen of the transmitter. If not succeed, the green LED will keep flashing slowly to notify, please repeat the above steps.
Note: If bind to transmitters without screen like T8S or T8FB, the always on led means binding completed.
Q:What is the operating voltage range that R6FG supports?
A: The operating voltage range of R6FG is from 4.8V to 10V, supporting high voltage servo.
Q:What transmitters are compatible with R6FG?
A:R6FG is compatible with RadioLink RC6GS V2/RC4GS V2/RC6GS/RC4GS/T8FB/T8S.
Q:How to identify if the Gyro Mode of R6FG is on?
A: Both Red and Green LEDs on means Gyro Mode while only Green LED on means Gyro function off.
Q:Why the gyro doesn’t correct the wheels reversely when the Gyro Mode is on (red & green LEDs on)?
A:Check the GYRO setting in the menu. Make sure the MIX function is ON and the GYRO sensitivity is well set (not the minimum).
The GYRO Rate value is bigger, the sensitivity is higher while it’s lower if the Rate is smaller.
The GYRO sensitivity can be adjusted by rotating the VR knob (Ch3) or by pressing Dec (-)/Inc (+) buttons below the screen. It depends on the Mode you set in the GYRO menu is VR or STD.
Q:Why the Gyro only functions when the RC car retreats even the Gyro Mode is on (red & green LEDs on)?
A:The gyro phase of the receiver needs to be reset. Short press the binding button (ID SET) twice within 1 second, when the red LED flashes twice, the gyro phase is reset.
